The fifth objective is "To develop new processes and tools to exploit the natural progression between e-Research and e-Learning for regional universities where research and learning are closely aligned".

RUBRIC activities for this objective will include:

• E1 Establishing communication mechanisms

• E2 Developing use cases

• E3 Defining knowledge and expertise that is to be shared

• E4 Holding forums on data harvesting, manipulation and standardization

• E5 Conducting trials

• E6 Reporting on outcomes of exploratory phase

• E7 Publishing documentation on data management

• E8 Providing draft and final recommendations

• E9 Conduct seminars to publicise work
