RUBRIC Toolkit

The Toolkit is the fruition of collaborative work between five project partners (University of Southern Queensland, University of Newcastle, University of New England, University Sunshine Coast, Massey University (NZ)) plus three IRUA partners (Flinders University, Macquarie University and Murdoch University). It is a tangible result and is a guide for those institutions wanting to implement best practice solutions for institutional repositories. The RUBRIC Toolkit was publicly launched at !DEA 2007 in October.

Community Bookmarks

The RUBRIC Project is using del.icio.us tagging to share links to items of interest on the web.  Websites and articles are tagged with "destrubric".  Consortium members can view instructions on how to contribute to the tagging process via the Sharepoint intranet (requires login).

Wheel of Fortune

Repositories are recognised as key infrastructure to support education and research.  The focus of attention has been on open access institutional repositories, however there are an increasing number of respositories being developed to meet a wide variety of other requirements. The Wheel of Fortune (Breeze format) illustrates some of the attributes of repositories and how these attributes are being  combined to meet a variety of complex needs.
